I think Underworld will get Born Slippy in, even though it isn't trance, Flaming June can surely be one of the top one thousand trance records ever, Schiller and Tilt could definitely make it somewhere, and on your list Madagascar is nailed-on thanks to FC's remix, and Heaven Scent and Stage One will very likely feature.

There were lots of tracks I could have put in there that I didn't. Most of the ones I opted for are pretty well known and have some sentimental value to me. I would like to have found room for some Blue Planet Corp, Vibrasphere, 12 Moons, Tranceparents, LSG, MWNN, Solar Fields, Li Kwan, Breeder etc.

Oh. Haha. Even thought it's clearly top1000 I was thinking it would be top 10. I fail really, really hard sometimes.

Yeah, there's just way too much stuff I wanted to put in, so I mostly did some really sentimental stuff that I love.

I guess there probably will be a lot (half?) of the artists we put in the top1000, though I think acts like Cosmic Baby, Luzon, Sunday Club, and Terra Ferma won't be seen at all.

Will be interesting to see, though. Just probably very, very depressing. Ah well. I finally got Northern Exposure so giving it a listen now

Sorry I'm half asleep.

We were speaking of good music (and you mentioned Dark & Long), so I thought I'd mention I finally got the two disc version of NE instead of just the American one disc, and am giving it a listen now.

Oh right. I thought you'd never heard NE at all for a moment, which didn't seem possible.

Will probably change my mind in 5 minutes.

Lots of love for Solarstone in this thread. Deservedly.

i'm surprised forbidden fruit isn't one of the 'suggested' tracks. i wasn't sure if i wanted to post the original or the ottoviani remix. i'll post my list shortly

Indeed! It's a georgeous track.

Got to be the vocal version though. The instrumental mix just seems incomplete without miss Lacey's voice.

I'm getting the feeling this is a very flame worthy list. Show mercy on my somewhat misguided soul

I love half the songs (though only one or two are best of the best quality), but the other half make me want to gouge my eyes out. Why oh why? =/
