Tiesto did spin a great set but I can't stand Space anymore. It was way to packed hardly space to move. Thats the thing now at space, whenever there is a big DJ in town that place is packed to capacity and its not packed by people that love this music like we all do but packed by a bunch of posers and wannabees. Its good that trance and techno have spread but unfortunately it has become mainstrean here in Miami especially when they advertise on the radio when a Dj is going to be spinning here, so as we all know that doesn't exactly draw in the best crowd. All Space is interested is in packing as many people as they can and make as much money as they can, I guess I would do the same if I were the club owner. Like I said if it wasn't for all the people it would have been an amazing night. Tiesto himself made it amazing....

Highly agreed, Space Cadet. I was ok with the line, it only took about 30 minutes to get in, but that place was absolutely ridiculous inside. It was so crowded that it became hard to have a good time, even while being somewhat fucked up. And believe me, I don't mind a place being crowded and people bumping into me, but to a limit. I've been to Space probably about 20 times in the past year and a half, and I love being in a packed club more than an empty club, but this was by far the worst I've ever seen, even more so than New Year's Eve. I just could not enjoy myself, and my girlfriend wanted to leave the second we walked in at 12:30, but because I had just dropped $80 we stayed till about 3:30. It's a shame because it was my first time seeing him and he was going off, but we just couldn't take it anymore after four hours.

I have been following Tiesto since 99. I was immediately enthralled by what I still regard the best electronic CD ever compiled, Magik VI Live in Amsterdam. This CD is loaded with uplifting, energetic, blood moving tracks intricately mixed with angelic perfection. From that moment on, I could feel the magik flowing through my veins while listening to the music that Tijs carefully samples and produces. His creativity allows him to develop the concepts of songs that bring life and energy to people around the world.
This March I was gifted with my first Tiesto live set ever at the WMC Ultra on the 23rd. Although very brief, Tiesto gave the crowd exactly what they wanted and performed the perfect mix of bass lines and female vocals. The next two nights he performed at two nightclubs, Spin and Space. The night at spin was pounding and relentless, as Tiesto did not let the small venue crowd’s excitement die down for a moment. At club Space the next night, I was overjoyed at the opportunity to finally meet the magician. Just before he went up to the booth I was able to exchange a few words with him and discuss the upcoming set and observe how warm and kind of a person he really is. During the performance, he sampled many of his most recent works at the time such as “Southern Sun”, “Take my Breath Away”, and several other In My Memory tracks. He sampled old tracks like Alibi “Eternity” and other anthems causing the crowds to seemingly levitate. Both sets were unparalleled in my mind.... until this past Saturday. Tiesto's performance at Space was by far the most complete, polished set I had ever encountered. I have never heard such a perfect compilation of songs in any format before. I have also never encountered such a strong, positive response from a crowd every before. Each fan connected with the magician behind the wheels and could feel the energy flowing throughout the club. The atmosphere was just right and the time as well. It was refreshing to look up at the wall and see the camera view of the booth as well as the equalizer projected on screens. It was obvious that Tijs was free in his element atop the DJ booth at the large venue. His body language is electrifying as he floats in front of the crowd and sounds the horn. Tijs never clears the smile from his face, as he is completely involved in his fans and his music. It was beautiful to view him feel the crowd and sample classic tracks such as the John 00 Flemming’s remix of “Café del Mar”. Once the night began, the energy never subsided. Tiesto did not allow the club to rest or the night to end. The power of Tiesto’s music was constant and kept club goers dancing and jumping with only dehydration standing in the way. I have never danced, moved or sweat as I had Saturday night. One additional highlight came when I stretched my arm and handed Tiesto a letter I wrote to him, which he quickly grabbed, read and slipped in the back pocket of his white pants. Immediately afterwards I was able to take a picture, as he pointed at me in a form of gratitude. I was able to capture many other great Tiesto moments on video and on my digital camera. With each track and every moment, I was reminded just how special the entire evening was.
This night was so special to me that I would sincerely appreciate a bootleg or copy of this set or from March 23, 24 or 25 from this year in Miami. I have many Tiesto sets dating back several years and many pictures and videos that I have collected, and taken myself. If anyone is interested or has any information, please let me know.
