5 years in a row of the same thing is enough (counting this year 6)
unless the rest of the lineup is super good / crazy
ill be geeving hard ... the other thing is, fuck u can barely hear music up there. whats the point of sticking around that late, in a crowded to shit venue to hear music on a soundsystem where u can barely decipher the music being played?

I love lawler but enough already on Canada Day. Thats always vacation time for me and we have good friends in from out of town and we could really use something else for that party.
The skybar sunrise sets are really odd. The vibe seems (to me and some other people I talk to) to be a bit off. It never really "picks up".
Just my random 2 cents.
Looking to head to Montreal this year I think although I have no idea whats going on there yet.

if that is the lineup I will be super happy with it
Yep, remember that thread I posted w this in it? (that festival?).
I think this is the same thing. Don't know about the line up either but I am there.

If that Downsview Park lineup happens, I am throwing a BBQ at my house.
(pretty close to the party)

There's nothing really going on in MTL for Canada day, cuz our holiday is Saint-Jean-Baptiste, the 24th of June.. thats when all the parties are going on.

I'm still traumatized after the over-crowding chaos in Skybar last year...

SO true. And if Karlo (biggest Lawler fan of all time) is saying this, it's clearly time for a change.
Lawler is good, but fuck please book someone else on Canada Day to play the Skybar!
