To be more efficient one must be able to communicate effectively and quickly. In order to communicate effectively and quickly one must understand how their audience receives the information they are communicating; subsequently, gesturing while speaking can be more efficient then speaking alone depending on who one is addressing.

I tried that once... the judge referred to it a bludgeoning rather then reiki though.

What if everyone in the audience has the same capacity to understand?

Yes, then in that case your OP makes sense and you could probably assume that intelligent people use more body language to communicate more efficiently. But that's such a huge assumption that it doesn't have any semblance of an application in the real world - where people have emotions and personalities.

I have to go give a big presentation now, and I'm going to try and use an excessive and inappropriate amount of body language.

It's not really about one's capacity to understand, it's about how they prefer to receive information. If one is addressing a large audience it is likely that you will have persons of visual, auditory and mechanical learning styles within it; therefore, the most effective way to address them would be to employ all of those methods. If one were more concerned with communicating the most in the least amount of time then using mechanical techniques is probably out of the question though.

what the fuck is reiki on the clit?

Also, I will consider someone less intelligent if they are overly wordy in their explanations. It feels like they are trying to shoot every single aspect of the topic, that way they feel they will cover everything, no angle will be missed and somehow the receiver of the message will have caught whatever the point was.

Being concise and to-the-point, while still able to maintain an aurally pleasing style and coherence is fucking hot. One of my professors is a phenomenal lecturer and I fantasize about fucking him all time because of his exceptional talent in oral communication.

Yeah everything you're saying is obvious though. I'm thinking beyond that.

It depends on the kind of information. Really, you'd need to read some analysis of body language and the kind of information it's used for. I have the impression that body language is used more to express emotional content.
