apparently there is supposed to be some sort of decision issued today on wether or not it will be open this weekend for JP..if anyone hears anything about what the decision was, please post.

hes a house DJ..during his sets ull hear primarily tech-house with some tribal occasionally and vocal house tracks. lots of long loops and effects. if u like house hes worth checking out at least once. people pretty much love him or hate him. personally, hes my favorite DJ.

I def. love tech- house- not much of a fan of vocal house though some great songs are just great no matter what. Would you compare him to Boris? I saw Boris at WMC @ Space and he killed it - great set- hard hitting. Thank you for the reply.

in some ways you could. they both play that real dark sound. when i say vocal house, its not excessive. a lot of the times its primarily some of his bigger hits hes come out with that he'll throw a few in throughout his set here or there.

and apparently the word about them reopening this saturday is still under discussion according to JP's facebook but a decision should be made very soon.

well ill be waiting for the results then - since its between here and Pacha- since Im looking for that big club experience that night

i was at pacha on sat, and honestly the crowd was ubber dog-shit for the most part, later on like 4 or 5 it got a lil better but for the most part the crowd sucked but hopefully the party on sat will bring out hot brazilian women to make up for it lol

the crowd at jp will probly be nothing special anyway

so hopefully music wise you get to enjoy something this weekend, i just wouldnt go in there expecting a killer party cause chances are you wont get it

I was also considering Push The Night w/ Brad Miller @ Stay on Sat. but really wanted that big club experience. Damn you Ay Star lol...but your right, the hot brazilian chicks on the flyer do have me hoping that will also be some of the clientele that night lol.

i would say go to push the night till 2 or 3 then hit up pacha or m2 for afterhours
