but u are going to the protest... which means u are part of the protest by just being there.
If you want to meet like minded people, why not join forums or group meetings.?
I am in forums and I do go attend "group" meetings and do much more (not that it matters)
But are you saying I should not see what the protest is about because I am not protesting? Ok Il stay home, thanks for the advice.

what im saying is that ive asked 2 people on here what the protest is about who plan on attending and neither have given me an answer. If that is indicative of the protest, it's pretty weak.
I doubt, and have always doubted that most of the people who go to these things really do understand what they are shouting about.
But its a free country, i dont think for a minute that they shouldnt be allowed to shout about (apparently) nothing. I dont have to agree with it though.

cool!
im still curious as to what people are protesting though..
my idea is that its a bunch of people who hate capitalism and want to turn us into what they attempted to do in the soviet union. Or as one of them once said "the soviest just did it the wrong way"
scary

Can you please explain what it is that you have against people exercising their right to Peaceful Assembly? And no diverting the subject; no "well, they won't be peaceful!" - just a concise answer as to why you're opposed to a very important section of the Canadian Charter.

Come on man, you're purposely setting people up for some rhetorical response.
I'm suprised you're not attending to protest govenment infinging on our personal libities.. cause many people are there for that reason.
In fact you should join the Ontario Libitarian Party's Meet Up in preparation for the G20 - they plan on being there in full force. Here is a link to help you get up to speed with other like minded individuals.
btw - I find using Trinity Bellwoods both sad and hilarious at the same time. "Hey, we understand you want to protest stuff...but uhm..we don't want to see/hear you guys so can you please go over here to this park like nice little canadians? Cool!"

thank you for enlightening me on what some of the protest is about. Libertarian protests are a worthy cause for sure
