im less worried about the titles that dont make it to PC, than i am about the quality of the titles that do. im so sick of menus and controls that were obviously designed with a controller in mind. other than graphics & scaling options, i cant tell the difference between the two formats any more, across virtually any multi-platform title ive played (not you divinity 2; PC title all the way you sweet piece of goodness).
oh, and im also sick of FPS titles that lock the viewing angle at 60 degrees. personally i cant wait for the next generation of consoles because i want them with more grunt. |
Exactly. The main issue these days is games are designed for the consoles first and then they port them over to pc. Used to be the other way around so that gave us pc gamers a better product. One of the worst ports off the top of my head is Star Wars Force Unleashed. Good gawd they didn't take any time at all with redesigning it to work with a pc control wise, and the graphics are just awful. Even worse than the console which is never the case. As for Divinity 2...that is a fantastic game.
People blame piracy for ruining the PC market, but that holds no water. The only console that is not hacked is the PS3, at least publicly. The Wii is fully hacked, same with the Xbox though they have cracked down on the online part, but u can still play any and every game released, except a Sony specific title...and that's pretty much every game released these days.
