Cocoon eh, I'll have to look into that. I was saying Privilege because its Tiestos night there. We might be better off going to Cocoon night since we will be seeing Tiesto at Unighted in Nice, France on the saturday of that week! Lol..

The locker thing could really help tho. We could stash our backpacks in a locker monday night, check into a hostel/hotel for Tuesday and just pay for one nights worth of stay. So there seriously are lockers all around the island that ppl can throw things in like backpacks? How would that work and where exactly would we go to get one?

yeah armin always does at least one "armin only" night every season and its not to be missed! although i've never had a bad time at armada ibiza!

tiesto is a sick night too, its ur call whether you wanna do trance or techno but trust me when i say this.... Sven Vath is the ultimate party in ibiza!! HANDS DOWN! its the party everybody goes to and its pure pandomonium!

yeah august is the high season and most hotels require a 7 night stay which sux if ur only going for a couple days... i'd say call some hotels and see if they have a couple nights for you, they wont list it on their website cause they want a week stay.

not sure about where you can get lockers all around the island i've only seen a couple in san antonio by the bay (ibiza rocks bar / eden) and in ibiza town, look into it online it shouldnt be that hard to find

Hey, thanks. I'm actually staying at the Fiesta Hotel, I think it's just up the road from the hotel you stayed at (I believe they are part of a chain). How were the rooms? What type of fees, besides the safe which I knew beforehand. I'm pretty much stuck with the hotel since I pre paid and got the room for 8 nights for a little over $900.

just random shit like going into the pool to swim (depending on who was out there monitoring at the time). rooms were like mexico but worse with hair on the floor and uncleaned bathrooms with dirty mirrors. i don't know how yours is, but if you can get out and find something cheaper like jet apartments, you would be better off.

Yo TA's.. So Its gonna be Monday Aug.2 - Aug 5 for me.. Tuesday with Armin @ Amnesia will be a must-see..Wednesday dont know yet, open to recommendations. We gotta fly out Thursday morning ..BUT Monday night is the toss up. Ive narrowed it down to SHM at Pacha or Tiesto at Privilege.

I'm sorry PVD but my brother and friends dont wanna see the Cocoon party, which kinda blows! Maybe they will change their minds but not into the tehcno scene i guess.. Only trance and house.. I can probly still convince them tho. But if it had to be SwedishHouseMafia or Tiesto, which would you guys rather attend?

I got a chance to see Steve Angello at Vancouver Olympics and he fuckin killed it, awesome show by him.. The bouncers had to actually carry him out since he wouldnt stop playing and the crowd wanted more! Only thing is, he wont be in attendance at Pacha on Aug. 2nd.. Only two mondays he wont be there and Aug.2nd had to be one of them. Fuck!

Ive seen Tiesto a number of times already and would rather wanna see somethin different but if one of the biggest Dj's in the world at the worlds biggest club is a must-see then why not eh?

*Also on a sidenote, for those who have been to Barca and Madrid, any suggesitons for partying there? Must-see late night attractions, etc.?

I definetly would go see the SHM. Their parties are just always fun. Angello still has it that he will be performing August 2 on his myspace, so maybe there is still a chance he will be playing.

Nice! Hopefully hes gonna be there then, thanks for the tip bro.. I think if Angello is there then 100% sure we gotta go to Pacha! Angello's energy seems to rub off on the crowd and the atmosphere of the party but all 3 of them are monsters!

SHM for sure! pacha will be a madhouse but pacha is the essence of ibiza, and there is nobody that can throw a proper pacha party like SHM! its gonna be VIP central with the hottest girls you will ever see!

to sum up this party.... balls to the wall! for 8 hours!!!

I stayed at a Fiesta last year, although I didnt have problems with airplanes and a club across the street, the place had the thinnest walls and there was a family that woke up promptly at 7am keeping us awake until they left. The guy at the hotel said it was a family hotel, deal with it. LOL

Not sure if they are all Family hotels, i cant possibly imaging that club is a family hotel. Just figured I would share what I know

Are there any good websites or forums that you guys may know of that discuss on some wicked travelling advice - like unknown places to visit that the usual tourist misses out on. Since we will be doing a cross europe backpacking trip along with squeezing Ibiza in, i'd def. like to check out some unreal kool things that just make you go "wow"
