Yeah they're a bit grotty, my neighbours where doing renovations/moving dirt and when we had lots of rain the whole place got inundated with dirt from next door and stained them a reddish colour. I did go over them with a pressure cleaner but it sort of needs something a bit more vicious I think to bring them back to being a nice sandstone colour.
They're made of cement with a lot of very coarse sand and little rocks.
edit
Whole place is a lot of maintenance though
Always weeding/watering, I'm developing a thing for cement statues and succulents because they don't need watering
You should buy that colonial style house Sushi, it looks awesome

I spend a lot of time on this deck. Possibly why I'm so chilled out. Mostly
It's kind of a weird deck though, but a good size. One end (where I'm standing/typing right now) is a small room with the laundry sink/clothes washer... and also a toilet It's cool to have though, since I have an amp in here, hooked up to my laptop, running a couple of speakers and a sub wired up. Just cheap second hand ones (since they get left outside for the weather to eat/people to steal).
It's where I 'TA' from much of the time

We 'may' have the option to do so, when our lease runs out (which is next May). We'll see how things go this year. Last year was...random, but things are looking up, so fingers crossed

Wait.. So you're telling me you are chilling out on your deck on your laptop with the sun out and birds chirping and music going through your speakers?

Yeah I was going to ask. It looks so amazing, I figured it took a lot of work to keep it looking so beautiful. You're doing a good job

I'm so jealous
If I'm out here, then music is nearly always playing Just ask my neighbors
The sun has just gone down, maybe 5-10 mins ago. And all I can hear bird-wise are crows carrying on about something. Probably the Kookaburras, lol.
It's pretty sweet

Sounds amazing mate. I'm extremely jealous
Sounds like just the thing to help my anxiety problems lol. Just seeing the pictures of your and Lilith's places tonight calmed me down a lot.
