lisa, if i said "world wide web ftmfw" would you ask "http://www.worldwideweb.com"? usenet is one of the services offered on the internet much like the world wide web, email, and ftp. most ISP's no longer offer free usenet service to their subscribers so you would have to purchase a monthly subscription from a third-party provider. i use astraweb.com. then you use NZB sites to look for what you want and load them up in an application installed on your computer (kinda like how you download a torrent file and load it in a torrent app to download).
