i kind of enjoy Treme, and Hung is awesome too even if i hate that vapid Anne Heche.
I'm trying really hard to like Hung, but I just can't get into it. What am I missing? It's not Anne Heche that bothers me (although I see your point), but I can't stand that frazzled looking wench who acts as his pimp.... and it's gay how his conscience always gets to him when it's time to get his fuck on. Plus his kids are uninteresting losers. The best part of the show is when his hot neighbor comes over and gets naked.

no i haven't, i'll check a few episodes to see if I like.
When I started it I didn't like it. Watched the first season and found it really slow. About a year later, at a friend's strong recommendation, I picked it back up, and got totally hooked. It's all about what you're looking for, and The Wire is all about the writing. I've heard many people, including interviewers on NPR, call it the best written tv show in American history. From my experience, I'd agree.

The Wire is the strongest series HBO has done.
I enjoyed Treme's first season, and expect a lot more out of the show but maybe, as new seasons come and ideas get drawn out, the show will become uninteresting. I hope not.
As for Hung - I just don't really get it. The whole show, the idea behind it and the direction some of the actors seem to take make me feel that it's simply a novelty type of thing. But it's really not all that novel.....

It may take a few episodes to see whether you like The Wire.
I didn't really get into it until about halfway through the first season. But by the end of the season I could tell it was going to be one of the best shows I had ever seen.

i can just relate to being a man whore with a big penis...and i guess i like the show because i always wanted to trade sex for croissants with motivational sayings in them.

are you with videotron or bell malek?
videotron... it sucks that I'm forced to have The movie network instead of super écran to be able to get HBO. Super écran pr0n has cumshots, which lacks in the clean canadian version of the channel.

That's the thing.. she's so irritating that I'm loving it
I've never heard of Treme. Just looked it up on IMDB and saw that a Dutch guy is in it. Is it any good? Ah heck, I might just go ahead and check it out myself.
