I don't really have any problems, but I do have a few small issues that probably should be dealt with:
- Not reading up properly on piano playing and notation. I am able to create really cool electronic music, and even play slightly complex self-made chord progressions, but I am almost unable to read notation and play piano for even the simplest of songs. I should also read up more on music theory, but it's just so goddamn boring compared to putting together sounds on my computer.
- Making really cool one minute ideas, and listening to them so much that I am unable to turn them into full tracks.
- Quantizing everything, and feeling uncomfortable seeing or hearing even one note going slightly outside the grid. I'm not quite sure whether this is a problem though.
- Giving tracks the "finished" stamp too soon. I always hear things a week or two afterwards that could have been much better. By then, I can't think of the track any other way than its current state, which makes improving it a really cumbersome task.
- I am not able to work particularly well with others, unless their way of thinking about music is similar to mine; which is extremely rare (although I know exceptions exist )
