Creating emotional and atmospheric Pads.... and putting the song together in general. I feel like I can get all the part down well, just the arrangement and transitions get me some times...

The biggest problem might be that I'm broke lol. I change my mind. I need a new computer, I just cannot stand bouncing every few seconds. Part of the reason why I get physically uncomfortable doing the whole process.

As for a change, that's a good idea, I think I need to decorate my room, maybe it'll make me stay in there.

Biggest problem: sound selection (I'm lazy to find the best sound to fit with others elements)

I don't really have any problems, but I do have a few small issues that probably should be dealt with:

- Not reading up properly on piano playing and notation. I am able to create really cool electronic music, and even play slightly complex self-made chord progressions, but I am almost unable to read notation and play piano for even the simplest of songs. I should also read up more on music theory, but it's just so goddamn boring compared to putting together sounds on my computer.

- Making really cool one minute ideas, and listening to them so much that I am unable to turn them into full tracks.

- Quantizing everything, and feeling uncomfortable seeing or hearing even one note going slightly outside the grid. I'm not quite sure whether this is a problem though.

- Giving tracks the "finished" stamp too soon. I always hear things a week or two afterwards that could have been much better. By then, I can't think of the track any other way than its current state, which makes improving it a really cumbersome task.

- I am not able to work particularly well with others, unless their way of thinking about music is similar to mine; which is extremely rare (although I know exceptions exist )

bathhouses and Mr and Mrs Smith was actually a good movie.

in all seriousness, sometimes I spend too much time on things that don't matter. Need to pay more attention to the 80/20 rule. I once orchestrated this action sequence for my first big project and although I thought it was brilliant as did the composer and conductor, it was drowned out by a loud impact crash sound effect. The annoying part is that I had the locked picture and knew there would be this crash but had no idea how loud it would actually be and vice versa , how the music would be buried underneath the sound-effects. Live and learn.

Ditto. It's frustrating as hell to spend a bunch of time on some little nuance and get it just the way you want it, only to have it go unnoticed, or worse, criticized by those who you think will notice it and like it.
