And they do now? When was the last time you heard of a massive, industry stopping strike? You do not have anything close to the sort of actions you had in the late 1800s and early 1900s where entire industries would grind to a halt and you had workers blowing up factories and taking over property and the national guard shooting up strikers and strikers shooting up scabs.
