The transition between Poseidon and Space Shanty is definitely the most half-assed of all of them. Thanks for the feedback anyway - and I mean that for everyone. In a way I prefer it when people have criticisms, even minor ones, because it shows people are being thoughtful and aren't just doling out praise to be friendly. |
Although I didn't really leave much feedback in my initial response to this, I understand your likings for getting constructive criticsm but honestly I generally don't just give out positive feedback for the sake of coming across as friendly. I do give thought to the music I take in. However I can't articulate my thoughts as well as yourself and others on this board and I don't intend to make posts that seem like cliche sounding responses.
I thoroughly enjoyed this mix, I listen to a lot of varied dance music and know what I like and don't like. The mix didn't bore me at all, you've clearly put in time and effort not just with the choice of music but the way you've constructed it, it's simply not a disposable mix in my eyes or should I say ears. There's just not much here that I can find to criticise, but that's not all I'm looking for either when I listen to a mix. I'd much rather listen to a well played set of older tracks than current ones where it's much more unlikely to have had the same amount of time put into the entire set. I guess I could say that with older tunes, you get much more time to put thought into the selecting and placing of the tracks. Although it does happen with new stuff, just not as often I find. (I hope this makes some sort of sense!)
Why try and focus solely on the negative aspects of a mix when it's far outweighed by the positive?
