Many family members are medics. Also, we live in a world which is governed by mathematics and I'm not very good at them. Medicine is one of the few careers which don't require extensive mathematics. Besides, there's nothing else that interests me.
Furter more, the overall idea of the human body is nice. We are all interested to some degree. However, once one falls into the pit hole and has to study 5 hours anatomy daily after university only to keep up, it tends to get a bit annoying. Not only that, but many of the things are so difficult that one has to read them over and over and over again.
