I love Lange's stuff. The bass and lead in his remix of Point of View is amazing.

Best sounds overall is from Vincent De Moor. All those clean, but harmonic sounds are great. Maybe I've listened to Amiga-sounds/songs too long, but Vincent knows how to handle his sounds.

Can't wait for his next album!

Pretty much every Paul Oakenfold track has the most amazing sounds, so much detail in every track

I think RIVA (DJ Manta) makes some amazing layers + synths, he just uses the sounds 2 create good tunes + remixes, and of course armin puts powerful vocals with driving synths and layers to create madness.
i am also a big fan of L.V. Airwaves dark trancy sound
But the clearest sounds around and most perfected synths come from:
Ralphie B
Steve Helstrip (en motion/thrillseekers)
Push aka Mike

and last of all solarstone who put all that in one track/rmx

I love Flutlicht's eerily dark yet uplifting synths. I love how the melody crawls out of the driving bass and you have to strain to hear it and when it finally comes out of its shell, its an absolutely beautiful melody and you feel like you're melting

I also really like Wippenberg's nice full chords. It sounds pretty much the same in all his tracks, but the first time I heard it in his mix of Blank & Jones' Nightclubbing, I was blown away

PUSH?!?!?!?

i wouldn't say that the sounds that his songs are comprised of are quality. they would be so much better if he took the time to make his sounds richer and fuller. i think that is a big problem with a lot of tracks. no one takes time to produce a song and i think that sometimes is a reason that songs have potential that is never realized. of course that doesn't just go for pros. from just what i've heard in and around this board (producer forum) people out there makes songs in a couple of days. if people stop to take the time to make the quality of sound which they really want, there songs would be a lot better. i mean a killer rhythm in a song isn't everything, if that rhythm was comprised of the richest most powerful sounds they would never be forgotten. also i think that certain aspects of production are lost arts. things like equalization and even how to completely manipulate the hardware that you own, i think, is pretty rare. the ability to use the equipment is what separates the ametuer from the professional. as for those of you out there that truely understand the process of making music and more what i'm talking about good for you hehehe.

ps. i have to agree that oakenfold always has great sounds in his cds and productions.

A few producers I really like the sounds of that havent been mentioned yet:

X-Cabs - That sort of dark undergroundy type sound...LOVE the track they did called "Neuro"...the break on that always sends shivers down my spine

Hear: X-Cabs - Neuro 99

Transa - Big reverberating buildups that are really pumping...

Hear: Gouryella - Tenshi - Transa Remix

Green Court - Why don't I see them mentioned more? Nothing comes close to a booming Green Court bass. Its deep, unmistakable,
pure GC.

Hear: Cosmic Gate - Exploration of space - Green Court mix (AMAZING!)

Interested to hear comments!
