This is really excellent stuff Adam. Was a bit apprehensive about going into this as dubstep generally isn't my thing, but I did because I'm fond of a lot of your past mixes and think you have very good taste. This is a refreshing display of quality dubstep and really does the genre justice considering it's easy to get a bad impression. I'll be keeping an eye on some of these labels after hearing this mix, was really quite surprised with just how good some of these tunes are.
Also nice to hear you play something a bit different from the deep/tech house sets you normally post. Also there's nothing wrong with playing what you'd consider the best of the genre, regardless of how popular they may be, there's no point in playing mediocre tracks or not playing outstanding tracks based on popularity/familiarity, sometimes you just can't deny that a tune's popular because it is simply fucking good music! Thanks.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this...I've listened a couple times this past week and of course thoroughly enjoyed. I know most of these tunes, but the sheer quality of your track selection was enough to make it fresh. As usual, you made the mixing sound easy, and everything sounded great save for a few transitions sounding a bit noisy. I'll be keeping it around for quite a few more listens, its nice having all of these in one place.

It really seems we have extremely close taste on everything. I've been listening to music like this for awhile, but never actually tried putting a mix together out of it...this makes me want to give it a try sometime soon.

I haven't had time to formally sit down and listen to the whole thing, but skipping through it, and it sounds fantastic. Extremely atmospheric and just the kind of dubstep/"abstract garage" that I have been waiting for since the days of El-B and Zed Bias. Will have more for you when I get some time to sit down and listen.

Thanks a lot for checking it out and leaving some feedback guys. Mucho appreciated! I'm really glad that above all else, with this mix I have been able to introduce some relative newcomers to the genre to some of the good stuff that's out there. This makes me really happy esp. because I think this music has a much broader appeal than most people realize. I was at an Appleblim event last week and was really surprised that nobody outside of the bass community save for a few (such as myself) had actually shown up. It's a shame, because I think house and techno fans would have a lot to like.

@ Trace: totally do it up man. I'd be ecstatic to hear such a set from you, I already know I would love it. So yea, don't keep me waiting too long man!

Anyway, I am starting work on part 2 of this. Hoping to get it done soon.

Thanks again.

I massively enjoyed this. I think it must have inspired me to knock up the mix I posted here recently (link in sig). I'm slowly finding it easier to find this more ambient Dubstep and 'Future Garage' sound. This is a keeper. Thanks very much once again sir, sterling work.

Well I've been pimping this mix on NeoGAF (absolutely huge video game message board), there's a Dubstep thread in there with like 20 or 30 so regulars, even though they're more into the Skream/Benga/Rusko type stuff, figured I'd show them another side of the genre... also been pimping this to a few people who were complaining about Dubstep and how it's always "wobble wobble wobble", since of course there's plenty of great music out there that doesn't fall under that stereotype...
