a kick doesn't just have bass frequencies. Your initial argument was to lower the bass. That is absolutely retarded. And i've explained why bass is not as damaging as mid range frequencies. If you can't make the correlation between the that diagram and the topic at hand, you are stupid. What more can I say.

That diagram shows that a midrange signal at 4khz at 100 dB is just as stressing on the ear as a signal at 60hz at 125 dB. Is that so hard to understand you fucking twat. Can someone else please chime in so I don't have to deal with this idiot alone.

And a kick usually has its highest amplitude at low frequencies...turning down the bass or EQ'ing it out would drop the amplitude quite a bit, and the overall volume of what is playing back...helping the ears out. I dont even know why you took the negative stance you did.

In this thread and the other one you proved you are just another forum turd that is always looking for something to troll. "I hasszsz masters degree...yet the intelligence of a 6 year old."

ps: where is the usual Forum Troll brigade that comes in and saves a fellow troll? What happened to troll nepotism?

you don't seem to understand that your ear boosts certain frequencies so to your ear, certain frequencies will have a higher dB level than others due to the construction of your ear which is clearly detailed in that diagram. What don't you get. If you send a 100 dB signal at 60hz and a 100 dB at 4k, your ear will boost the 4k signal making it louder. Can you understand this ?

I dont think you understand that chart yourself in reference to hearing loss.

Using your logic derived from that chart. Would a 100db 4khz sound be more damaging to ears than a 100db 16khz sound? Say they each were played in one long note for 2 hours. The 100db 4khz was in the left ear and the 100db 16khz sound was in the right ear.

the fletcher curve is based off this. The problem is you don't seem to be able to understand the chart and make the correlation that a dB's entering your ear are not treated the same and since as you said, it is dB level that affects hearing loss, the ear's natural amplification mechanisms are very important.

I often feel that you are actually on some sort of drug binge when you start all this tautologous reasoning with absolutely no facts or references. I wonder if the confidence you exude is not so much the workings of an idiot but rather the tweaked state of mind of someone on the tale end of a meth binge. I say this because you seem to chime in every so often and it always seems to be on a weekend. Get some sleep.

Using this chart you know well...is a -20dbfs 4khz sound played in 4/4 tempo at 120bpm more damaging to the ear than a -7dbfs kick in which most of its amplitude is in the 40hz-400hz range. Whatis damaging your ear more? Give us something practical.

O are we psychoanalyzing now? You remind of a soulless turd who has nothing better to do with their life so you sit on a forum talking to people as if you know shit but you really have nothing to show for it. And somehow you've managed to get a masters degree (money buys degreeeez) whilst being completely out of touch with reality, and perhaps this is why you've ended up here with a masters degree. Should have put that edumacation to better use, and not wasted money. And no I dont use any synthetic drugs...i'm not dumb white boy with a masters degree and a trust fund.
