A few people have commented on it and the reason is your chord voicing. You would also learn how to use 7ths and 9ths so that when you try something similar, you don't sound like someone that is trying but failing to use a style of chord progression.

It really is the element that makes your track still sound like it was made by a noob. Almost makes you think producers these days need producer's themselves to just take it to that next level.

edit: scratch that. flame on!

I think its kinda good. Even with the piano sounding warped.

It sounds well produced, has a nice big room groove, and i'm sure that break would make a big room happy.

And look its on Bob Sinclair Digital....Sinclair's digital imprint? Good work.

you know what man. Why even bother posting your shit if you won't take constructive criticism from someone that knows a lot more about the topic than you do. I wasn't mean. I tried to help you. When I get a free 10 minutes, I will post how you should of done it. It is not a question of taste, your voicing goes against every convention a jazz player would learn in his first month. You don't know how to use chords. Your track is at about 80% and it is a shame you didn't confer with someone else so they could fix your little voicing blunder. I even defended your right to post it despite cleverly being in the wrong category. And to be helpful to others, I will just make a tutorial using your track as the way not to do it and then the proper way to voice house ish chords so your track will get even more attention. Your welcome.

perhaps I should of just pmd you rather than make it public. I did say it was a good track but your piano is just awful and it sort of is the main element. It is a good track. It could be great. I give professional composers doing feature films advice for this stuff, it isn't like i'm being a dick and saying you suck. It is just that I could help you. Thats all. I also double posted to see if my signature shows up. Anyways, I suppose it is too late to fix your track.

you've made your point man, there's nothing left to say. you could do it better, i'm a noob, we all get it. I appreciate the criticism but as i stated before, i like it and at the end of the day it's my work, so if anyone needs to be happy with it, it's me. i'm not knocking your opinion, i hope to hear the correction you'll do on it but for right now i'm just happy some people do like it and it's still top 20 on prog house. Maybe your corrections could have made it top 10, but that wouldn't change the fact that i'm still happy with it.
