LOUD NOISES!!

I take it you're one of the girls that I'm trying to persuade that techno delivers and we need more of your gender at our parties. Going by your name I'm assuming you like Stereo and the music that gets played there - underground house of all varieties. Techno can be funk and soul as well like the first track I posted - and like Carl Craig's Throw - but it's more subtle and you just have to reach a little deeper to feel it.

However, the hard bangers are more about the primal in all of us. Perhaps that's the reason why the music attracts more guys than girls like metal and punk. It's not about feeling the sexy - which I love just as much - but, tapping into that part of your soul that takes you where maybe you were scared to go or didn't know existed. Cheers.

* BTW, leave the heels at home when you go to a techno party and bring the runners and get ready to give it as hard as you would at the gym.

lol. cute.

i like TUNES. all types of TUNES. but there are some horrible songs posted here. like that RJ song, i thought my computer was crashing and was stuck on a one second repeat of the same noise.

i can't walking heels to save my life. i wouldn't wear them anyways.

girls do generally prefer house because it is much sexier and lets you shake your ass not stroke your chin. also the crowds at techno parties are horrible. quite horrible. hipsters are not my crowd. i would rather go to a candy rave, to be honest.

Well, music is a subjective experience in the end. If you don't feel it, you don't feel it. It's not a statement on you or the music, but it is what it is. However, for a person who likes house it's almost tragic you can't feel that tune - referring to RJ here. But, like I said it is what it is and it's not a poor reflection on you or the music.

As for the crowds at techno parties I would definitely not construe them as hipsters - it's usually only heads that get it. Chin stroking refers to male techno heads that don't dance and just hang at the back and do what they do - sometimes enjoying the music, or in the worst cases critiquing every little thing around them from the set, to the crowd, the venue, etc...

In the end if you really do prefer happy hardcore to some of the music in this thread then all I can say is - not everybody understands (*house*) techno music. Cheers.

* Reference to Eddie Amador's track which you probably know

Dude, I get your need to be funny and have a little attention at my expense, but I know your kind and I've already run one of you sucks off the board already - unless you're epicshit reincarnated. Not that I have to explain myself to you, but for the others wondering why I started this thread - it has everything to do with being sick of male dominated techno events. The heyday for techno PARTIES in this city was Transcendence raves more than a decade and a half ago. There were as many girls - everyone from funky chicks, ravers, hotties, peelers, etc - as guys at those parties. Finally, if you don't think I can get laid come see me dance at ANY party of YOUR choosing and we'll see who attracts the bees to the honey. Fucknut.

* BTW that's a challenge dickwad.

* Edit - It can't be at any Khabouth owned joint - I have nothing against his clubs in of themselves or some of the good people he employs - but I don't like the guy for personal reasons.
