I think the only reason he is doing this is because he is coming to the states. And as someone mentioned, residency in Vegas calls for the crowd of poseurs and bottle service partiers(nothing wrong with that)that eat up this type of stuff. I'm not even bothered about him changing up. I just don't like the way he put it, like the genre just ends with him. (yeah freakin right)
It like when Jordan decided to play baseball. |

That video is absolutely hilarious, especially with the jesus crosses and the shots of the djs posing in a similar way.
I don't see what's so bad about Roger Shah playing his little mini midikeyboard on stage.
I like the fact that he and other musical artists can play their songs on piano, unlike many, many, many others.

I agree Elements of Life was a great CD, but I guess that is when Tiesto realized that he rather work with rappers and pop artist, because trance is soooooo boooooooooring...

Damn what was Tiesto thinking making those comments. Even if he wants to move into a different direction, why alienate his millions of trance fans in the process? He comes off like he's completely turning his back on trance by saying things like he's "deleting" trance from his set. Those be fightin' words! Sounds like he doesn't want to associate himself with trance anymore and be strictly about house. I doubt he's going to play pure house music anyway. A lot of trance and house now a days have elements of the other genre incorporated into it, and those are tracks he'll prob continue to produce and play. In the end, these comments are going to hurt him more than help him.
