when i was partying in LA/SF/Vegas I would meet people because every now and then at events there would be TA Meet ups scheduled. Saw Markus in vegas and a tonn of TAs were going so there was a pretty big meet up there. That was such a great way to meet ppl-especially because a lot of TAs will often be at all the same events. i went to the TA meet up at EZ and met a few people from NY which was nice.

does NYTA have meetups at popular events other than say EZ?

i've tried going up to ppl i recognized from the boards once or twice. (thought i recognized) and i've asked about tranceaddict and i just get weird looks so OBVIOUSLY that's not the best strategy lol

There used to be a lot of meets up back in the day for parties at Arc and Roxy. Not anymore though.

When all of a sudden, mizzuno or Redeye (don't remember who) came up to me and said 'swamper wants to meet u... He wants to know what font you used'. Lol

I haven't met that many people from TA

swamper took me for 'nyce at Twilo's PVD event and shoved me tweaking @11am out of the speaker to run home and register @TA. I heard in the echo's him promising i'd be a mod too.
