What's the difference between hip-hop and rap? I understand that hip-hop was a movement back in the 80s, but music-wise, what's the difference?

if you want good rap look for anything pre 1995

I'd think hip-hop includes breakbeat and such. Music you'd generally associate with hip-hop as a "culture". I think DJ Shadow, RJD2 etc. are hip-hop.
