that's a question of how you want build your setup. do you want to use the scratch setup displayed above in this thread? then you won't have any connections left. but on the other hand, you'd most probably need an external mixer anyway, so why not connect your monitors there? 
if however you plan using an external controller or the likes, and will be using the software's internal mixer, you could connect your monitors to the second output. but then you'd have nowhere to plug your headphones.

you can use pretty much every sound card in traktor or ableton, traktor scratch however comes with one important limitation: the scratch features (i.e. timecode control) only work with the audio 4/8 dj interfaces.
