my parents dont text. for christ sake my mom cant even check her voicemail correctly.

and when my mom is on her cell phone she yells for some reason even if reception and bars are full. i dont get it lol

she uses it more like a beeper, she rarely picks up and if she does she's like "lemme call you from a land line!!!"

my parents don't text. hell, they don't even leave their cell phone on unless they need to use it or leave the house for an extended period of time. i asked, "why don't you leave your phone on all the time?" "we only use it in emergencies." "yeah, but what if someone calling you is HAVING an emergency??" "...."

am i the only one that uses good grammar when texting? i don't shorten anything except for the typical ones- lol, wtf, txt, msg, ffs. it's been a bad habit since i got my first cell phone in high school. i always trim them down to keep them under the word count limit for 1 text in android.. it's quite a process. kinda defeats the purpose of texting, now that i think about it.
