And that was heavily discounted. Came to about £40 overall, as I recall.
Well worth the price.

The most I've spent on a vinyl is £25, and that was for John Rees vs Helios - Beta Blocker (JR Trance Mix), and then I bought another copy of it from a different seller, also for £25. Then I sold one of these copies for £50 a week later.
Sign me up for the mother fucking Apprentice please.
Ps. Does anyone want to buy a copy of John Rees vs Helios - Beta Blocker (JR Trance Mix) for £50?

For instance I bought this one back in 1998: http://www.discogs.com/Dreamweaver-...s/release/70379
I saw it in the record store and was like "nice a new swedish goa trance producer, let's try it".
Now i discovered that it goes for around €100. It's freaking insane.
IKEA in skärholmen has that dreamweaver cd on display in one of their lockable cd-shelves :E
most i've paid is ~80 euros for Drexciya - The Quest.

$30 for mint copy of Leama - Requiem For A Dream

signed copy of lateralus (200 made--signed before pressing). $100.
I paid close to $100 for TIP Yellow or TIP Orange on vinyl back in the day... dunno what made me that crazy for it; the same records cost next to nothing nowadays.

They only released 'em on [the other] TA. They go for 500-1000 on ebay, when they happen to pop up. Not sure if/when I'll get rid of it.

I've never paid over €30 for a record, and even then I'd think twice before buying anything. I generally never even buy any "regular" record for a normal price, almost everything I do buy is from the bargain bin.
It's ridiculous how much people are willing to pay for some records - I've recently discovered I seem to own a fair few records that people are willing to pay a lot of - and I've bought them all from bargain bins, sometimes just mere months ago.
For example, someone bought this record for €72 when I paid about €5 for it less than a year ago.
A lot of people just don't search and dig enough for any other sources from where they can buy certain records. I also found myself in similar situations when I buy something very cheap and then when I look at discogs it sells for double and more its price. It is ridiculous.
On topic, my most expensive record was probably some of the goa records I bought - like Chi A.D. - Anno Domini, for around 30 dollars.
