The very same music will have to be played live. Like I did:

Excellent if it means that raves are like this again. Pick a place, hijack it for the night rave until morning than disappear into the morning sun.

Better not let your wedding run on too long. Any concert that has music in the bar is fucked too. What about all the pop stars who lip sync? Good thing movies are only two hours these days. Just ruined a lot of kids High school proms. This is going to create a law that we get to pick and choose when to enforce. Anyways, i doubt it will pass.

Hey look everyone, Fiona Ma held a big NYE bash with a DJ playing 6 1/2 hours of prerecorded music!
Feel free to message this obviously mentally deficient individual on FB, perhaps taking a moment to explain what massive, over-the-top hypocrisy means.

this act won't pass because raves haven't existed since the 90's.

When was the last time you went to something called a rave? Sure, clubbing is the sterile/shiny packaging deal, but I've been to plenty of parties where it's not quite so squeaky clean. You gotta find some outdoor bag, people freakin out in the fuckin dirt and shit. Of course, most of them are inside, but even so I wouldn't consider some of the places I've gone to to be very shiny.

I just think it's laughable that bankrupt CA can even think they can enforce something like this. There's still an active rave community up in the North Bay/Marin county area where the kids throw outdoor renegades and limited capacity ug's. Even in Modesto and the Sac area, the scenes here have started to blow up, even though most of the music is shit. Maybe the state should worry about earning more capital for their hugely bloated deficits before trying to make more things illegal. You can't fine your way out of this hole. Stupid state legislatures.
