thanks again chaps!

I do like what the dirty duo are doig and to be honest you really should just do what you feel is right. your last track was spiffing after all!

This is the latest idea render (not gonna bother updating the SC render all the time)

http://www.mediafire.com/?xc099tpkg423ewl

The horrible synth at the start is just the vocal melody so it's represented in the mix and i've pulled out the filter automation to more or less work by itself to leave room for the vocals. Remember that it only describes note value, not how it'll be sung or sound in the mix.

I'm still scratching my head over the pissing percussion though

What is even weirder is when they start doing it before you have finished your track lol.

Cheers

It's good to believe that for even one second I may have 'inspired' somebody to try something out!

Sounding good so far!

Aha, yeah that synth is quite horrible in there like that, you're right :P

Cool track though, don't listen to much deadmau, but I can hear the similarities.

My only criticism is on the melody, and that I think it might be a bit too active. I've noticed that sometimes with melodies, less is more. Probably hard to completely imagine it without vocals though...(this will be killer with vocals)

For example, even the 1 extra second from 00:37-00:38 makes 00:38-00:40 sound a touch redundant and then detracts from that delicious build up that comes after.

I think people would dance to this, and I found myself tapping my foot and swayin'.

Gl with this matey, it has some srs potential.

Yeah I don't think that synth part represents what I wanted to do at ALL!

Here's the first rough vocal take.

The vocals here have just been blanket AT'd and reverbed and then laid on top of a render of the instrumental, so not mixed in at all!!

That's great man. Really quite jealous as I haven't ventured into the realm of adding vocals yet (in due time...)

bit of a Hnggghh moment when she cuts out at 00:42 and doesn't transition into the build.

Good stuff, can't wait, make sure to poke me when it's done ok?
