don't think of it as left handed should drive with a wheel at the right side of the car, i don't mean this (although i think cars exist for leftism where the gearshift is at their left), but maybe left handed people have different habits in terms of body positioning or they use the right headphone cup more often that the left one... i haven't been using plugs for several years and i can't remember if i placed more often the left plug but i certainly think i can't hear equally well on both ears.

Most people take their ears for granted. After all you were born with them and just like our eyes or mouth your hearing ability developed without you even thinking about it. Most of us never stop to consider what it would be like if our hearing stopped working.
