Again, you just don't get it. It isn't the words that you use, it's the divisive mentality behind them. You want to identify a certain segment of society as "left-wing socialists", then you should fully expect that you're going to get lumped into convenient (but ultimately meaningless) categorization as well.

So carry on, righty - you just keep on spouting all of that conservative, right-wing rhetoric and show all those socialist lefties who's right and who's not.

And as I said, the joke is tired and played out.

So is 12,000 cops taking over the downtown core for a rousing display of taxpayer-funded PR.

I don't think showing support for one dying in the line of duty should be considered negative.

This reminds me of the time I was trying to get home from the Guv on a Sunday morning with Smunky. And we waited on Yonge for 1.5 hours for a bus. The police had shut down Yonge after a parade, and didn't tell the TTC they were diverting all traffic. The TTC supervisor showed up and was asking around, and had no idea where the buses were going or why they were not on Yonge.

good times.

I was proud to be a part of the Toronto Fire procession that followed up the police. For you idiots blaming the ttc. Get a life. If you live under a rock big enough to not know the downtown routes were going to be affected then thats your own damn fault.

You clueless fucking idiot child... Sometimes it's best to keep your ignorant trap shut.

Anyway, all those cops were OFF DUTY and not getting paid. Officers from out of town paid their own way to get to the funeral.

The police union and the Toronto Police Service share the cost of a public funeral.

leaving behind a small child and a devastated woman. not only an entire force of guys that this could happen to any day.

i honestly didn't mind any parts of any roads being closed off. they get closed for many different reasons. you live in a city, try to go with the flow people. it's not worth your time to be pissed off or mad about one day traffic delays. have a nice scotch and relax.
