also as far as that cricket like metallic sound, basically use a highhat and loop it and close the loop until you get a metallic sound. Then use a filter or envelope to shape it.

hi thanks for the reply. cricket is a good way to describe it! i'm not sure what you mean by loop it and close it. can you explain please?

loop the sample. Close the loop end so it gets shorter and shorter. You will hear at first the sample being repeated faster but at a certain point, it makes this metallic like tone. You need to use a sampler like kontakt or battery. But ya, it is a short portion of a highhat being looped and repeated very fast.

it's exactly the same as i did, delay equals to a short loop of hats and Fruity Flangus is a filter + pan. Do what's easier and faster for you.
