besides hyperreal & recess, check out those, seemed pretty helpful:

www.djprince.net nice one for key matching and such

www.godisadj.org oh sure he is...

www.harmonic-mixing.com another one on key matching

getimo.de/linkpage2/html/tuts_english_mixing.php didn't check it out yet, must be a good one

i could only remember those.. if i remember any others i'll post it up here

Just concentrate on the beats (the BOOM BOOM BOOMs) and you should be ok.. I try to shut off from all the rest of the layers ("tss" inclusive) when I beatmatch so I stay focused. Hope that helps.

plz give me a hand...

1.my mixer is getting pretty "Hot" after 1~ 2 hours practice,is that normal?

2.i am using hd25 headphone. and after i wear it for 10 mins.
my ear area feel a lot of pressure...not too comfortable!
anyone else have the same problem?

3.beatmatching is actually match the drum right?
and my question is,i can hear the drum sound at begining very clearly
but when song plays to middle part, sometime i am getting confuse if what i hear is the drum sound or bass sound, is that my hearing problem? or my speaker sux?

1. Mixer do get hot. Make sure you have ample space seperating the mixer from your turntables to enable more air circulation, vital for your mixer. Wouldn't wanna get it over-heated.

2. Some headphones can feel very tight. Therefore, it is important to choose the right headphones. HD25 is a wicked pair of headphones btw.

3. I tend to beatmatch to the basslines and the snares. You have to get used to determining which you are beatmatching to. Concentration is the key and also the problem could be your speakers, too.
