bottom line. good night , if ya didnt get tickets at 40 your stupid for payin more then that , your own fault . if you didnt think tracklist was good your some kind of new tranceaddict. he dropped it. seemed like everybody was feelin it regardless. it was an all age venue. personally dun care it was somewhat like a big EXIT reunion with friends who been clubbin since and back before that. good ol asian section in the back as always x.~ upstairs was most reminded myself of exit . all that was missing was that black guy who did strings with the prodigy snake eyes . LOL. elite

FUCK PAUL i went to the club so fucken disappointing about the whole provacator thing (s. Got there at 9:30, outside line was fast and easy but I spent an hour on the coat check line (at least it wrapped around a bar) and then as I got to the front they said coat check was full...WTF???? How the fuck does that happen at such a large venue???

Paul was very slow and that break beat killed me (esp cuz i was expecting a very short set, >3h, and was hoping for him to throw bombs from the beginning. And then he started KILLING it. I hate paul for fucking with me, making me hate him and then as always I end up loving him

I'm happy to see that he played a 3 hour set. There were rumors going on saying he would cut it short at 1am and that's why people were pissed. Everybody knew that Exit closes at 2AM so it was no surprise.

Did anyone go to the provocateur party?

PS. What's up with the topic title? Did the OP try to enter codes for it or am I not getting it?

wow.. PVD tore it up. since the moment he jumped in to the end. Loved his energy. Wished he played some more though. He was definitely jumping around and fist pumping us. Ha i think he liked the outcome. he even stayed around for a few minutes. i don't think he wanted to leave but the venue closed.

anyone got the playlist?

I think this was one of the best PvD sets that I've heard him spin this decade. We were all prepared for the early start & end, but ended up getting that unexpected bonus hour. Who knows, maybe he was notified of all the negative feedback on message boards & decided to make the other club wait an hour instead of taking it from us.

High energy trance with almost no garbage for the entire 3 Hours. Several epic promo tracks that I couldn't ID. He didn't get into one of those "Spin all my classic overplayed productions for one straight hour" phases. And remember when he use to go off then encore with like 20 min mix of his best stuff. He even did something like that last night

it was the best and worst time of my life.... PvD showed me again why he got me into trance and I was basking in classic PvD drum rolls and pulsing basslines. Track after track of pure bliss and massive choons.

Getting in the club was perfect, definitely better than all previous times I seen him. Even found a street parking around the block. However, how the fuck do you fill up a coat check and fuck people over holding coats all night?

lucky for us, our friends had a VIP passes and we were able to sneak into VIP section and leave our coats on chairs. Chilled all night next to two sexy cougars (early 40's), hot as hell and not shy to show off ass and sexy moves.

I had a blast, haven't been so impressed with PvDs since Roxy days, albeit it was sad to see him wrap up so early.

I wanted to say that night was perfect, except... nearly dying or being seriously fucked up less than 2 miles away from my house on the way back completely killed great mood and desire to have an afterparty (see "near death" thread, if curious). I guess in a grand scheme of things, it was a perfect night because we had a great time and avoided a wreck that could have been catastrophic for us. Unfortunately, poor guy who must have fell asleep at the wheel didn't fare as well... I hope he lived through the worst rack I've ever witnessed... Chilling chilling chilling end of the night, I haven't been myself since it happened. Just keep on thinking about it.

Which also was a sign that my clubbing days are officially over. Sure, this sort of thing could have happened regardless but I just realized that night driving is much riskier and not to be done unless absolutely necessary. And I"m not a public transportation person either. So, looks like my clubbing ends just like it started - witnessing PvD being absolutely fantastic. And if you think about it - it's a great way to retire my clubbing shoes.

Thanks for great memories, Paul....
