I never bother reading Youtube threads, on any forum. They encourage people to simply post whatever random shit they've come across on Youtube.

Not to mention that if any videos did happen to spur discussion, it'd be fucking difficult to carry on a conversation when people are either just posting more and more unrelated vids, or quoting others' posts with embedded vids. It's bad enough when people feel the need to quote a humongous jpeg to address the picture instead of removing the image code.
