HOW THE FUCK does that separate me from the dozens of other guys that offer her drinks? I feel that the whole "buying a drink" cliche does more harm for us guys than good. When you meet people, its all about the FIRST IMPRESSIONS you get. By using a cliche to meet a woman, I doubt her first impression of me would be as positive. |
Exactly, that's just why I was saying not to do it too often, I love doing random acts of generosity, like IGottaKnow, that's cool. But not as an opener, or even mid-conversation, unless it's understood that it's just being nice an nothing else.
And the reason why "all the guys in here think that A) girls will think you want to fuck them if you buy them a drink" is because 90% of guys who buy girls drinks as an opener ARE just tying to get into their pants!!! that's why the cliche's so bad!
That's why you should be yourself, create interest in conversation, not your skill in saying words to a bartender and putting money on a counter. A monkey could do that, hell a monkey could pickup chicks like that!!! And the girl's would think we was trying to get with them!!!!
I'm not trying to change anyone's views, just trying to clarify what I meant.
Enough...
