Sasha in his album used mainly Ambient. all ambient songs are made with small bass (not beat) and sometimes a little 4X4 beat or just a break-beat. see there's so many complex ambient songs out their, that sometimes when you listen to them its a guitar instrument playing, some trancey sounds added to it, and a bass. but then you think, is that really ambient or another gender. i think that Sasha is still exploring of wat he's able to do. Sasha is already a well known DJ in the world and everyone out there will go buy the album. sooner or later eveyone is gonna really like it 
i really can't see how you can compare Oakenfold's Bunkka to Airdrawndagger. Bunkka is an album that was made for the american's coz Oakey thought that i wud make a big hit there its a really poorly structured ablum. Airdrawndagger = quality. |
totally agree...just that the problem with the album was that MOST people never saw it comin...even though u look at the Xpander EP and even his San Fransisco CD plus a couple of his old Essential Mixes...u can tell he really is into the ambient stuff with extremely emotional strings and tons of layers...i wasnt TOO surprized by the album...it just took me awhile to get 'used' to...just check Baja and Rabbitweed...even Arkham Asylum & Ohnma...especially those two...the breaks and everythin and beautifully crafted strings...listen to those two and tell me u didnt see Airdrawndagger comin...
