London will have something big on, they don't like to be outdone when it comes to NYE. Last NYE some big cities like Cardiff and Birmingham gave them a run for their money though iirc.

In London, thousands of people just invaded Trafalgar Square and parties the night away, but I was in the Dome so I missed all that. There were pre-parties and after-parties galore though.

I generally try not to stress over where I'll be on nye though, cos generally the best night of someone's life is rarely their birthday or christmas eve because they're so concerned with having a good time.

There's generally good stuff on Xmas eve, Xmas day, boxing day, and so on though so it's worth checking lineups/events etc if you can afford to do them and don't wanna miss anything.

But it's all a canny way off like!
