Obviously, people for some reason are pissed, because Tiesto know has gotten a nice amount of fame. Is it his fault? Wouldn’t everyone want to be a successful producer/DJ? I know that is what I’m going for.
Oh, I'm sorry, but when the whole world in Trance didn’t recognize as a excellent producer, he was the bomb in most opinions, now he is not worthy! Yeah, all of a sudden, his skills went to shit and he is just started playing redundant tracks?

Some things to realize people:
1. He is playing in different locations. He is playing for the people that go to the venue, not specifically for people who download every set he does and watches him with a microscope. Many people who attended Club Space didn’t ID many of the songs... if they did; it was not because they downloaded the set off the Internet, or because they heard it from another Tiesto set.

Its simple, as a DJ, he will play what he thinks rocks the crowd, and he will assort it in a certain way where its compatible as he spins. It’s a combination of spinning what sounds good with reading the crowd. He is not going to say "i spun that in Amsterdam" "now i cant spin it in Miami". Regardless of what anyone will criticize of him, he got the job done excellently, as he tore up Miami, PERIOD.

I'm so sick of people always ragging on artists on basis of their success, its bullshit. People will go to any extent to rag on a successful artist--anywhere from "they turned to cheese" or "they play old shit" to "they are homosexuals" ect. Next year, what is it going to be?

Holy shit..Would you calm down?Where the hell are you taking those accusations from?If you had read my post properly,I never said ONCE that I thought Tiesto had become shit because of his popularity. In fact,I posted in the chill out forum for being among the people that started to like him when his style changed, and his popularity soared. Not because of the simple fact that he got more popular, but because he started to spin tunes that I happen to like a lot, unlike the epic-overload tunes that he spun before.(which I hated)

I know you're all sick and tired of all these "Tiesto sucks"-threads(I'm just as sick of them as you are),but my opinion is that his sets lack variety in means of trackselections. It's not that his sets are bad,he just needs to get some fresh tunes in his box.Or maybe he just hasn't got the chance to play them yet,who knows? It's a problem, and there are a lot of other trance-djs that manage to deliver fresh and/or unknown tunes in every set, like Armin,John '00' Fleming and even Judge Jules. So why shouldn't Tiesto, one of the biggest djs of them all,be able to do the same?Beats me.

These days it seems you're not allowed to criticize Tiesto on the forum unless you wanna get your head bitten off.And this is just as bad as all those posts on the "Tiesto-sucks"-bandwagon.

Frem here on,I expect people to be a bit more careful when it comes to judging my opinions on a dj.And I hope I won't have to read prejudiced and retarded flame posts like the one above, and this:

I hear ya, and agree. However Bachatu's point is that Tiesto plays at so many venues, and that there are so many bootlegs of his sets, that it seems like there's so much repetition. If there were as many bootlegs of Fleming (whom I love) and Armin, I think people would say similar things about them as well. The fact is, Tiesto has such a huge following, that there are so many of his sets available, as opposed to other DJs. I believe Tiesto changes his style and visits the record stores just as frequently as other DJs (so to speak, not like Tiesto, Oakey, etc. gets the cream of the crop from those sending them their vinyls). Tiesto is simply just heard and recorded much more often.
