I think it's an essential thing to do in this economy. So do a lot of other economists (including the man who invented Reaganomics )

I'm sure he demanded $400 billion at the last second.

I don't know why we can't just do a 3-1 cuts to tax increases deal while reforming entitlements and reforming the tax code. Stupid politicians.
