Exactly. He IS the world's most popular DJ, he does everything for the masses, and has been around for a while. EDM is now more global then ever, Guetta makes the hits, he has a memorable name, his music is the feel-good type, people who don't really follow the EDM scene, but follow the top-list charts love him. Armin has his armada of Youtube fanboys, but I really doubt that's going to be enough against this global giant, especially if he starts telling people to vote for him.


It's a good thing too, DJMag poll will finally be recognized as a mainstream thing, so perhaps people will realize it's just a popularity contest, and not a true quality contest.
