What are PvD's sets like these days? I have an opportunity to see him but I don't listen to trance anymore and I really dislike cheesy music.

Oakenfold has actually had some really good sets this year in the old-school, faster style (check out his ASOT 500 set), but I'm not sure if he plays like that at every gig.

That's an awesome set I'll be interviewing him soon :P Oh as for JOOF some people call the psy stuff he plays as "Generic" If you don't believe me Check the ASOT forum.

Unfortunately he doesn't.

I have been to Oakie's gig in San Francisco a couple months ago and he sucked! I thought he would play the "old" Oakie sound that he is trying to go back too but he played only the electro/pop house-trance shit.

And he played for only 1:30min hours. Very frustrating.
