Some of these figures may be misleading. Don't get me wrong, the top DJs make crazy good money, but their are a lot of costs involved that you have to subtract from that total gross. Such as management, transportation costs (his private jet, living expenses for him and his crew, stage setup), developing his show, advertising/promotion. I wouldn't be surprised if after all costs he made about $10,000,000 from his gigs.

I'm sure his Vegas residency paid him a good piece of that, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Armin only made half of that.

Case in point, Deadmau5 has been huge lately (especially in North America), but he said himself that he wasn't rich.

This website just gives estimates based on info it collects from the web, but I would tend to assume it's not too too far off.

totally agree. If I had $2.5 million+ to spend, I would certainly not spend some of it on a wall-sized-photo of myself. LOL... Hope its at least on the beach

Capacity, Which City, What Night Of the week will determine how much they get paid. Its not uncommon for some of these Superstar DJs to make more than 100 k on 1 booking that is not New Years. I know for a fact some of these DJ's TURNED DOWN 100k + offers so you can imagine what type of money they are making....

did he really do this? i've always heard the accusation that some did... pretty fucked up to perfect it in your studio then charge $40k to press play and futz around with controls not doing anything.

but people know for sure that some djs have done this??
