No one knows how much they will cost at early bird or how much fees will be. I can guess $150 before fees since they have a habit of going up every year. |
lol, what is my prize?

Ya, my guess would have been $139.95 before fees, so kudos to you for hitting it on the nail :P

It's not a bad deal if you actually go to all three days of the festival.
There are a lot of shitty acts but there are enough good ones to keep me happy. Honestly, Electric Zoo's lineup blew Ultra's out of the water this year. I hope Ultra takes a hint and books more "techy" acts that true heads will approve of. I mean Zoo's Sunday school tent alone looked like it was worth the price of admission. I wanted to go to Electric Zoo so bad but lack of funds this year. Damn school.
But I kind of doubt we'll get that kind of lineup. Ultra seems to aim for a more "electronica" approach (Crystal Castles, Empire of the Sun) to their bookings while Made caters more to the techno and deep house crowd (and obviously both will do mainstream bookings like Tiesto, Afrojack, etc).

I'm kind of done with paying ~$200/festival, even if it does translate to ~$85/day. I'd rather pay $25-$40 to see one or two DJs that I love play for several hours rather than emptying the bank account (yes, emptying the bank account, I'm poor, fuck you!) and only seeing the DJs I love for 45-75minutes.

I don't blame you man. I feel the same way. For me though it's a just a fun weekend that we look forward to so we kind of have the mentality of "fuck it, why not, let's do it."
