I liked the Extended Mix for awhile then it was released as a Nu Skool Break trk......

The Nu Skool sounds far more better than the mainstream.....

I use to love sandstorm until it was overplayed. Every club played it and i even heard it played in ballparks between innings. Hadn't heard it in a while until I saw the video for PVD @ mayday 2000 when he played it. The crowd and himself went nuts. I started liking it again.

By the way Strike I have to agree with you. Most people I talk to think that if its not rap or r&b its techno, they're clueless. But that makes me like trance even more.

First time hearing Sandstorm I liked it alot. After about the 6 millionith time though I kinda grew tired of it. And the fact that alot of his songs sound like sandstorm just slightly varied doesn't help matters.

Cookie-cutter album.

Peace,
Razer

The first time I heard Sandstorm I thought it was fantastic. But it wasn't long before I was exposed to songs like System F- Out of the Blue and Robert Miles- Children. Then I could see Sandstorm wasn't as good as I originally thought it was. I never really got into Darude's other songs (whatever they were...).

Nowadays, I find Sandstorm rather repetitive. But sometimes it's fun to listen and reminisce, harharhar...

I think I have a Darude album somewhere. It must not have been that good because I can't remember anything about it.

darudes first song sandstorm was amazing, very original & good remix's. then it started to get abit TOO comersalised; it was on the radio all the time & i think most of us lost our likeing of this track. The darude decided to bring out about 15 other tracks which sounded all the same, which spoilt the originallity of the first song 'sandstorm'. darude should of stoped with that one song 'sandstorm' because brining out other tunes just the same spoilt 'sandstorm'. it was also many of ours first trance song, so some of us can't realy say its cheese because well........it isn't.

the same happened with atb's frist tune, exactly!!!!

cheese is just someones way of saying i need to broaded my trance likeing, or its just another way of saying i don't like that track because its comersalised.
