i dont know of any other medium for talking to strangers in a format that doesn't suck balls.

i like that it takes no effort to read opinions from people all over the world on topics that im interested in.

i like that someone like jay can post pics of his shit for me.

what i'm proposing is somewhat less effort because theoretically you can have a thread open and as jay posts pics of his shit they appear before your eyes in real time without you having to refresh. and in the mean time if people respond to other threads you posted in, you'd get a little notification.

I don't need more real time shit lol. I'm already using day to day skype, trillian (msn, aim, gtalk), irc, google wave and google+, and multiple email addresses... The last thing I need or want is another source of info bugging me for attention. TA is an escape. I like not looking or knowing what is going on so I can take a break and come see what stupid things have been posted.
