I'd call that being a dick.

Also, you could never own me.

Can you please just not comment in my threads, as I've already asked you to do? I suppose that's too much to ask.

That is what it's called. The offense you derive is yours to derive, based on your delusions about how reverently you feel your topic should be regarded. You then submitted that you had "owned" me as though I would have some intimidating recollection of being dominated by you, someone who can barely stand the thought of having an idea ostensibly separate from them, criticized. Now you want to ask me to stop posting in your threads?

Quit posting stupid questions a chimp could answer in my forum and I'll give your proposal some thought. Could never own you?

You just fucking owned yourself.

i love the prefix bro added to a genre. Says so much with so little. I think noisia skrillex porter have done some cool things but the genre really just hit a wall faster than a white girl screaming rape at a hip hop club.

I think dubstep , well this newer incarnation has been the fastest genre to implode into derivative shit. It became redundant after the tenth track. I thought it was really cool but when you keep hearing the same configuration essentially making the same tracks over and over, well not very inspiring. Doesn't mean you can't steal the few nuggets it provided and apply it in other ways. X men origin has a score that is orchestral with guitar and some dubstep sounds here and there. Most noticeably when Magneto kills Kevin Bacon. Speaking of kevin bacon, im quite happy that he is back. He has been in lots of stuff lately.

Okay first off, if you are willing to process the living shit out of your sounds, 3xosc can make really good wobbles. Especially when you use custom waveforms. Everyone overlooks that when they see 3xosc, you can load any waveform into it you want. Try that.

About a month ago I decided -- for shits and giggles -- to test whether I could design the familiar Dubstep wobble synth sound from scratch. This is what I came up with using a few instances of Sylenth1 (basically multiple detuned saws and squares...plus sines for the sub-bass):

Sounds like hip hop.
