Oh.. now I understand... why didn't they keep the original sound from the actual night.

Couple of reasons I guess..

They only had 1 camera, and they wanted multiple angles (its boring from 1 angle all the time)

That way they could make more of a "music video"

Secondly, their audio live from the night would have been CRAP, so alot better to edit in digital audio over the video.

Which means (in theory anyway) that someone over at Channel V has an audio rip of PvD's ENTIRE performance .. man I would pay sooo much fucken money for that it's not funny...
