Middle section needs more variation, bassline change at the end was good, bring that in earlier and do something more with it.

Need to build and release some tension somewhere it feels a bit constant..

Some sounds could use more presence in the mix, like kick and percussion need to stand out a bit more through eq'ing etc.

yeah i know i added a bit to much overdrive to the kick, im working on my kick and basslines trying to bring out more with correct eq'g slowly but surely. I did feel enough change was in there as it creates the overall feel, but i will look at make some more changes to it

When listening to your own work though you tend to focus on all the little variations that you know are there, and it can blind you a bit to the overall picture.

Specifically i'm talking about a change in energy or tension, you could add a whole bunch of little variations into that middle section and it wouldn't necessarily help all that much, without doing something fairly drastic like dropping the bass out completely and rising up into a significant change (like the bassline variation at the end).

See how the bulk of the middle of the track is one long fat waveform until that change..?
