Well. Personally I don't care how I end up meeting someone in real life. There are various ways to fix dates and internet offers some options too. Anyway, it's the person who counts, not the way you end up talking, kissing, fuc^H^H^H ahem
Anyway, I don't believe in "relationships" that happen only/mostly on the net. That ain't real. I sometimes chew blaablaablaa on IRC/wherever and if I happen to find an interesting person, I usually want to see her in real life asap. What's the point of writing a gazillion emails and drooling virtually if there's a chance to find out what the person is really like?
Finally some people still think that "all people who chat/use net forums/do whatever on the net" are nerds, losers, ugly, [insert a bunch of degrading adjectives here] . Heh, what a load of crap. Well, I admit that some of the people I have met haven't been the most trendy, outgoing and goodlooking, but hey, who cares and since I consider myself quite cute why should I think that everyone else looks like a pig's ass?
And before you ask... no, I met my current gf at a club.
