this is good for avalon, more usage of the venue, and more shifts for employees. too bad about Music box closing i liked the place(not the way the line was run, or insomniac running it) but the venue itself had 2 great perks avalon does not.
1) those steps from roof to 2nd floor! you could guarantee a dozen people eating shit throughout the night, saw an awesome fall at benny sept 2010. 
2) they were affiliated with alaska airlines dining plan, so i'd get miles for paying with a CC(miles > no miles).
so is alice deejay going to be at the february palladium show? i always see "dash berlin" promoted but its only jeff who shows up to dj. i should book izzy stradlin and a bunch of jobbers and throw a "guns n roses" show at avalon one of these nights.
